Management and Entrepreneurship Course 1st & 2nd year of University (Level 4 & 5)
This Management and Entrepreneurship Course is a combined undergraduate Level 4 Diploma in Entrepreneurship and the level 5 Extended Diploma in Management course with 240 credits designed to provide business managers and the CEOs of tomorrow with the skills needed to succeed in business, with a specific focus on innovation and entrepreneurship within medium to large businesses.
The Management and Entrepreneurship course at levels 4 and 5 is equivalent to the first two years of an undergraduate course, allowing students to progress onto the final year of an undergraduate degree program at a University.
The qualification has been created to develop and reward the business managers of today and the future, and to continue to bring recognition and professionalism to the management sectors. We hope that centers and Students take the opportunity to learn a great deal from these programs that will provide relevant new skills and qualities. It is envisaged that this program will encourage both academic and professional development so that you Students move forward to realize not just their own potential but also that of organizations across a broad range of sectors.
This course is made up of 10 modules of Level 4 and 8 modules of Level 5, each of which will be assessed by one multiple-choice exam and written assignments (10 assignments at Level 4 and 8 assignments at Level 5). Our team of expert academics has designed a series of exclusive, comprehensive lessons for online study to help you study for these assessments. This material will cover everything you need to know and can be accessed anytime and anywhere.
Each module of the course consists of approximately 40 guided learning hours of material with an additional 30-50 hours of optional learning material. These materials are comprised of interactive exercises, further readings, and internet resources.

Note: Students should complete the first 10 Modules to get level 4 Diploma in Entrepreneurship and further 8 modules of Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business and Management Qualifications.

Fulltime: If you are studying full time online or blended learning you can complete each level in 6 months duration.
Part time: if you are studying part time online or blended learning you can complete each level in 2 years from the date of enrolment.
Fast track full time: if you are studying full time online or blended learning you can complete each level in 3 months
Online: if you are studying online and studying at your own pace you can complete in 3/4 years’ time.
Exam and Assessment
- There are no written Exams, only written assignment it must be submitted after completing each module.

Awarding Body
After successfully passing all core units assessments, you will receive a level 4 Diploma from Qualifi and a level 5 extended diploma from ATHE awarding Bodies. (Awards for Training and Higher Education
Progression Route
Students completing the first 10 modules of QUALIFI Level 4 Diploma in Entrepreneurship can progress to:
- QUALIFI Level 5 Diploma in Business Management or Business Enterprise, or
- Enter into 2nd year of an undergraduate study in business management; or
- Directly into employment in an associated profession seeking further professional development and to gain work-related skills and know-how.
- Students completing all the core 18 Units will be able to progress to the final Year of any UK university.
Module overview
Managing Business Operations
This unit aims to introduce Students to key aspects of all businesses and how they operate within the wider business environment as well as internally. Students will gain knowledge and understanding of key business functions and their importance to business success.
Business Environment
This unit aims to develop the learner’s knowledge of the business environment and its impact on organisations. This includes factors that shape the internal environment and other external influences. Using this knowledge, Students will be able to develop approaches for managing change.
Personal Effectiveness
This unit explores the skills of different approaches to learning and examines the significance of time management. It investigates the skills managers need to develop to solve problems and to make decisions, as well as discussing the issue of management stress.
The Entrepreneurial Manager
This unit aims to identify competing perspectives on the nature of entrepreneurial management as both a function and a process supporting the process of organisational change and development.
Business Planning and Goal Setting
This unit aims to identify mechanisms for the setting of organisational goals and their achievement as part of the process of business planning.
The Manager’s toolkit
This unit provides a selection of the most useful tools used in management and explores some of the uses of each. It aims to provide sufficient information to understand the principles behind each tool and enable them to be used with confidence. The unit aims to help Students analyse situations within the organisation; develop solutions to organisational problems; evaluate an organisation’s position in its operating and competitive environment; and develop elements of an effective organisational strategy.
Managing and Using Finance
This unit aims to provide an outline of the use and management of finance within an organisation. This includes an introduction to accounting and financial terminology. Students are also introduced to the basics of financial reporting.
Managing and Using Marketing
This unit aims to develop knowledge of marketing as key management tool. This includes understanding the marketing planning process and the role of internal as well as external marketing. Using this knowledge, Students will be able to understand the value of marketing activities to an organisation.
Psychology of Entrepreneurship
This unit aims to introduce the fundamental principles of the science of psychology, relating them to the entrepreneurial perspective of business management.
Innovation and Creativity
This unit describes the role of innovation and creativity for organisations. It considers models used to help understand and recognise their importance, as well as techniques to facilitate their use as part of strategic development.
Business Organisations in a Global Context
This unit develops Students understanding of the issues organisations face operating within a global context. This understanding will allow Students to review the issues currently impacting on business organisations.
Research Project
The aim of this unit is to develop the skills required for the learner to formulate an appropriate research question and to design and undertake a research project to answer that research question. The learner will also need to interpret the outcomes of their research and present them to an audience.
People Management
This unit will enable Students to understand how to manage individuals and teams. They will study organisational factors and how these impact on and influence individual and team behaviour, as well as learning management tools and techniques to help them effectively manage individuals and teams.
Finance for Managers
The unit aims to Equip Students with the knowledge and understanding of the sources and use of finance in organizations and how to evaluate and interpret financial data.
Managing Communication
This unit aims to develop knowledge and understanding of communication within and between organizations. Students will also review their own communication skills in an organizational context.
Marketing Principles and Practice
To develop knowledge and understanding of general marketing principles and their application in business.
Planning a New Business Venture
This unit will develop knowledge and understanding of new business ventures and skills associated with planning a venture. By studying this unit, Students will develop an understanding of business types and the factors that determine the success or otherwise of a new business venture. They will also learn how to determine the market potential of a new business and develop an associated business plan.
Business Law
Aims to enable students to develop knowledge and understanding of some of the main aspects of business law that impact on organizations.
