Human Resource Management Courses 1st year of University (Level 4)
The Units have been designed to develop knowledge and understanding and a broad range of skills for direct application in the workplace, based on contemporary practices in real-world settings. In addition, the materials of Human Resource Management courses are based on sound pedagogical structures to ensure that the learning is engaging, enjoyable, and fun to study. Accessed and studied in this way, they will not allow students to gain any credit values for Higher Education progression but it will provide them with skills, knowledge, and understanding that can be directly applied to the workplace or the enhancement of their career.
The Level 4 Human Resource Management course is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate course, allowing students to progress onto the 2nd year of an undergraduate degree program at a University.
This course is made up of 10 modules of Level 4 which will be assessed by one multiple-choice exam and written assignments (10 assignments at Level 4. Our team of expert academics has designed a series of exclusive, comprehensive lessons for online study to help you study for these assessments. This material will cover everything you need to know and can be accessed anytime and anywhere.
Each module of the course consists of approximately 40 guided learning hours of material with an additional 30-50 hours of optional learning material. These materials are comprised of interactive exercises, further readings, and internet resources.

Mode of Study
Blended Learning (for students who are in the UK)
Online learning (International students who are abroad)
Fulltime: If you are studying full time online or blended learning you can complete each level in 9 months duration.
Part time: if you are studying part time online or blended learning you can complete each level in 2 years from the date of enrolment.
Fast track full time: if you are studying full time online or blended learning you can complete each level in 6 months
Online: if you are studying online and studying at your own pace you can complete in 3/4 years’ time.
Exam and Assessment
- There are no written Exams, only written assignment it must be submitted after completing each module.

Awarding Body
After successfully passing all core units of level 4 , you will receive Human Resources Management Diploma from ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education).
Progression Route
- Students may enter into the 2nd year of UK University.
- Students who complete all 10 Units at Level 4 will be awarded an ATHE Level.
- Students’ progress to a relevant Level 5 qualification or equivalent.

Develop an understanding of what ethical issues can arise as a part of effective management, how ethical decisions can be made, and what the legal and regulatory context of what workplace ethics looks like.
Managing people in organisations
Learn about the reasons for, and best methods of, training people in an organisation.
Motivating and influencing people
Learn the best methods for motivating people, both individually and as part of a team.
Organisation structures
Develop an understanding of the factors that shape the design of structure within organisations, and how the organisational structure can influence management strategy.
Recruitment and CPD
Develop an understanding of the internal approaches used to determine recruitment needs, and of the different approaches taken by organisations to attract and select potential candidates. Learn about the requirements of contracts of employment, and the importance of personal development.
Strategic human resource development
Learn about the importance of strategic HRM in an organisation. Develop knowledge concerning the analysis of various factors impacting the labour market, the ways in which employment can be terminated, and the different forms of discrimination.
Working in teams
Develop an understanding of the core principles that underpin an effective team, both in terms of team membership and team leadership.
