The Level 4 Diploma in Human Resource Management training and Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management are 240 credit courses designed to provide students with the skills needed to succeed in management, focusing on Human Resources within medium to large businesses. These are valuable skills to have and can be used to open up opportunities at a huge variety of employers – from healthcare to hospitality, banking to broadcasting. This course can be your way of preparing for a career at any number of organizations.
The Level 4 and 5 Human Resource Management online course is equivalent to the first two years of an undergraduate course, allowing students to progress onto the final year of an undergraduate degree program at a University.
This course is made up of 10 modules of Level 4 & 8 Modules of Level 5, each of which will be assessed by one multiple-choice exam and written assignments (10 assignments at Level 4 and 8 assignments at Level 5). Our team of expert academics has designed a series of exclusive, comprehensive lessons for online study to help you study for these assessments. This material will cover everything you need to know and can be accessed anytime and anywhere.
Each module of the course consists of approximately 40 guided learning hours of material with an additional 30-50 hours of optional learning material. These materials are comprised of interactive exercises, further readings, and internet resources.

This qualification is designed for those who are typically aged 18 years of age.
- A GCE Advanced level profile with achievement in 2 or more subjects supported by 5 or more GCSEs, ideally including maths and English
- Other related Advanced level qualifications
- An Access to Higher Education Certificate delivered by an approved Further or Higher Education Institute
- Other equivalent international qualifications.
For those whom English is not their first language we recommend the following standards of proficiency in English language skills or an approved equivalent for this qualification: IELTs 5.5 or Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) B2

Part time: if you are studying part time online or blended learning you can complete each level in 2 years from the date of enrolment.

Online: if you are studying online and studying at your own pace you can complete in 3/4 years’ time.

After successfully passing all core units of levels 4 & 5, you will receive Human Resources Management Diploma from ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education).
On successful completion of a Level 5 qualification in Human resources and Management there are a number of progression opportunities. Students may progress to:
- Employment or have increased opportunities for progression in their current role in Human resources and Management industry.
- Level 6 qualification route on successful completion of the required units at level 5.
- Final year of degree programmes at some universities.

This unit develops Students understanding of the issues organisations face operating within a global context. This understanding will allow Students to review the issues currently impacting on business organisations.
The aim of this unit is to develop the skills required for the learner to formulate an appropriate research question and to design and undertake a research project to answer that research question. The learner will also need to interpret the outcomes of their research and present them to an audience.
This unit will enable Students to understand how to manage individuals and teams. They will study organisational factors and how these impact on and influence individual and team behaviour, as well as learning management tools and techniques to help them effectively manage individuals and teams.
Finance for Managers
The unit aims to equip Students with the knowledge and understanding of the sources and use of finance in organisations and how to evaluate and interpret financial data.
This unit aims to develop knowledge and understanding of communication within and between organisations. Students will also review their own communication skills in an organisational context.
Marketing Principles and Practice
To develop knowledge and understanding of general marketing principles and their application in business.
Planning a New Business Venture
This unit will develop knowledge and understanding of new business ventures and skills associated with planning a venture. By studying this unit, Students will develop an understanding of business types and the factors that determine the success or otherwise of a new business venture. They will also learn how to determine the market potential of a new business and develop an associated business plan.
